Biography:

Adelina Muhametaj is a full-time academic staff member at the Department of Medical Technical Sciences, European University of Tirana (UET). She holds a degree in General Nursing from the Faculty of Medical Technical Sciences and a Master’s in Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine, Tirana. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Relations with a focus on European Studies at the Institute of European Studies, University of Tirana.

In addition to her academic work—where she has gained experience as full-time faculty in the Department of Nursing-Physiotherapy, Faculty of Medical Technical Sciences at Albanian University, focusing on Obstetrics-Gynecology, Psychiatry & Psychiatric Nursing, and Professional Practice—Adelina has extensive professional experience in healthcare. She has worked as a nurse in well-known private and public institutions in departments such as general surgery, hemodialysis, and she continues to work as a nurse in the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” in the Department of Burn-Plastic surgery.

She is an author and presenter in national and international scientific conferences, contributing research on nursing care and technological innovation in medicine. Publication in the scientific journal Medicus of the European University of Tirana on the topic “Nutrition as an essential element in the prevention and treatment of health pathologies”.
