Critical Trauma Care

Critical Trauma Care focuses on the rapid stabilization, assessment, and management of patients who have sustained severe injuries resulting from accidents, violence, falls, disasters, or other high-impact events. Trauma patients often present with multiple injuries and life-threatening conditions requiring immediate intervention and precise coordination across emergency and critical-care environments. This session explores how trauma nurses use structured assessment methods, rapid triage, airway and breathing stabilization, hemorrhage control, and shock management to prevent rapid deterioration.
