Nursing Research

Nursing Research drives the discovery, testing, and translation of evidence that strengthens clinical decision-making, enhances patient outcomes, and shapes future models of care. This session explores how research enables nurses to examine practice problems systematically, evaluate interventions, and contribute new knowledge to the profession. At a Nursing Conference, nursing research is highlighted as a core pillar of advancement because it connects everyday clinical observations with formal inquiry. A central related component, evidence-based inquiry, reinforces the process through which nurses integrate research findings with clinical judgment and patient values to improve reliability and safety at the bedside.

Participants examine the full research cycle—problem identification, literature review, question formulation, methodological design, data collection, statistical analysis, interpretation, and dissemination.
